My Approach for Details as a Christening Photographer in Sydney
I am blessed with a natural eye for details and unfolding stories. I love looking through my view finder and capturing something meaningful from your natural interactions. The reassuring glances, small gestures of care, your younger one clinging to your skirts, which might be annoying now, but may make you cry with happy tears when they are older.
You could say I am sentimental, and perhaps this is why I am attracted to Baptism and Christening photography. I value the religious occasion, as well as family bonds which are so lovely to capture, so you can cherish them later.
What I capture
Photographing small and large baptism and christening details, candles, flowers, little shoes which will only fit for a month.
Candid moments between the parents, grandparents and other loved ones. I love capturing pictures of the baby with their grandparents and godparents. These memories are priceless for when the baby becomes a child and later an adult. There is something very special about how grandparents look at their grandchildren, with awe.
Photographing siblings and candid moments between the siblings. I look for meaningful candid moments.
Photos of christening guests at reception, candid as well as smiling group photos. Everyone seems to enjoy having their photos taken at such a happy occassion.
Cake Cutting and Family photos with the cake. Loving how inventive decorations have become, providing such great photography backgrounds.
Children Playing. Some of the events have entertainers for the kids. These provide fantastic opportunities to capture children interacting with each other and often running around. I have captured some great images of the little guests this way.
Photos with family members at church and through-out the reception. I am always on the look out for great moments.
Often you won’t realise I am around capturing photos, call that my special talent. I am unobtrusive and respectful.

My approach to christening photography is natural and unobtrusive. I document the ceremony respectfully while also creating beautiful family portraits either before or after the service. The result is a timeless collection of images that reflect both the spiritual significance and the joy of the occasion.
Christening Photography Locations
I photograph baptisms and christenings across Sydney, including churches and venues in the Northern Beaches, Inner West, Upper and Lower North Shore, Chatswood and surrounding areas. Whether your celebration is intimate or large, I ensure every important moment is captured with care and attention.

Packages are priced based on the details of your event. Please inquire for a quote, including how many hours are required, multiple locations and any other relevant details.
I can generally cover a 3-4 hour event starting from $850 including two locations and travel time (church and reception). Further locations and distances may change the pricing structure. This includes professionally edited photos from your event delivered in an online gallery.
Delivery of Online Christening Image Gallery
Your final edited photos would be delivered in an online gallery for you to download in full resolution and web sized for social media use. For an extra charge, I can also make a second gallery for your guests, where they can view group pictures and other keepsake pictures they can download either in full resolution or web resolution. This service is really valued by your guests and the photos make a really lovely keepsake of their time at your baby’s Christening.
