Family Photography at Sydney Opera House & Botanic Gardens

This relaxed family session took place around the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney just before sunset, when the light was soft and beautifully golden.

It didn’t take long to see the connection within this family. I gently stepped back and gave them space to be together, and soon they forgot about the camera entirely and enjoyed each other in this serene location with Opera House in the backgrounding, perusing the Botanic Gardens.

The result was a collection of natural, candid moments — full of movement, warmth and genuine connection.

When they received their gallery, they loved how relaxed and unposed everything felt. I also received a lovely note from Diana, which I’ve shared below.

We had such a wonderful experience working with Tina from BlueBird Photo Studio for our family photoshoot. Tina is truly passionate about what she does and it shows in every part of the process.
